Brothers in Arms was started by brothers Joe, Ed and Ken Hozzian. After some time Joe decided to move on but still plays occasionally. Ed and Ken forged ahead and found many talented musicians to play for the love of it and not the money. Vince Murray on Drums, Mike Carroll on keys, Eddie Carter on guitar and John Tomazak on bass. Still forging ahead the band experienced many growing pains and players came and went. Bob Glorioso was added on keys, Kevin Elwardt on drums, Jeff Ernst on bass, Freddy LaFredo was a major plus adding sax, vocal ability, and flute. The untimely death of Eddie Carter was a shock and major loss to the band. Picking up the many pieces the band moved forward with a talented guitar player named Mickey Lewandowski. Mickey filled in perfectly while searching for a new guitarist. Tommy Madden was a Godsend, a very talented musician. Marc Docherty also was a prime player in the band on keys, for a few years and is currently living in Florida. The band was now complete.

Now after 14 years of playing with the band Kevin Elwardt departed in September 04 to pursue other interests. Kevin will be sorely missed. Kevin's dedication, his drumming ability was a major mainstay for many years with the band. John Litrenta will fill the void left and it is an honor again to play with him. It has been an honor to play for this many years to many fans and friends. We hope you continue to support us on our next musical journey. Fondly
